Marsh View Condo (Pets Allowed)

I am renting a marsh-view condo on James island where I lived for 4 years when I was a student at MUSC. Unit includes an open kitchen, dining room, living area, and separate bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. Unit is located on the second floor.... Has a working wood-burning fireplace, in-unit laundry, and balcony with marsh view. Bathroom was redone with a new walk-in shower in January of 2022.

Property is located 10-15 minutes from Folly beach and 8-12 minutes from MUSC main campus on James Island. Property has a pool, fitness center, clubhouse, and a tennis court. (Tennis court needs resurfacing but is usable.) Neighborhood is mixed families, retirees, and young professionals.

Will allow cats and dogs. There is a cat door located in the laundry room door in the unit for litter box storage. No security deposit for cats but we do ask an extra $250 security deposit for dogs, to be returned to you within 30 days of vacating the property upon inspection.

$1700 monthly fee includes rent, water, waste disposal/recycling, and high speed internet. Electric not included. Earliest move-in date is tentatively June 1st. However, we try to be flexible with MUSC students and residents, and will try to accommodate our current tenant’s transition in coordination with your moving plans.

If you are an incoming resident: We understand that residency orientation begins in mid to late June and that there is a short amount of time to make housing arrangements after match day. We will do our best to accommodate your move in schedule and will prorate rent based on your arrival date.

We are willing to lock rental rates for the duration of your graduate program.

We do allow subletting as long as we are notified in a timely manner so that HOA regulations can be shared with your subtenant. You, as the primary renter are responsible for payment of the rent during periods of sublet and must be reimbursed by the subtenant.

My father manages the property and will meet you for a walk-through inspection prior to signing the lease.

We are open to the idea of providing basic furnishings on an as needed basis and can discuss this at the time of the walk through.
